I was pretty disappointed when the project was discontinued and the site went offline for a while.\n\nSo, I decided to build an alternative — starting with the last published Papers With Code database, then cleaning and restructuring it, and adding a data processing pipeline. From here, the idea is to grow it with community contributions and ideas.\n\nWe’re using GitHub Issues as the main platform for:\n-Submitting missing papers, datasets, or code links\n-Suggesting new features\n-Reporting bugs or incorrect data\n\nAll the main elements — papers, datasets, subsets, methods, benchmarks, and venues — are interlinked, so you can click your way through related content, sort of like Wikipedia for ML research.\n\nI’m looking for feedback on how to make this a genuinely useful alternative to PWC. You can help by:\n-Reporting bugs\n-Suggesting features\n-Submitting missing repo links for papers\n-Or even collaborating to improve the platform\n\n\nWebsite: [sotapapers.com](https://sotapapers.com/)\n\nContribution repo: [sotapapers-contribute](https://github.com/ma-abdellaoui/sotapapers-contribute)\n\n\nWould love to hear your thoughts and ideas!","author":{"url":"https://github.com/ma-abdellaoui","@type":"Person","name":"ma-abdellaoui"},"datePublished":"2025-08-21T20:53:43.000Z","interactionStatistic":{"@type":"InteractionCounter","interactionType":"https://schema.org/CommentAction","userInteractionCount":12},"url":"https://github.com/117/paperswithcode-data/issues/117"}
