{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"DiscussionForumPosting","headline":"Xeus-cling kernel dies when creating xpl::lines(xpl::linear_scale, xpl::linear_scale)","articleBody":"I'm using a fresh Anaconda3 installation on MacOS Mojave.\r\n\r\nI'm using:\r\nPython 3.7\r\nipykernel 5.1.2\r\nnotebook 6.0.1\r\nipywidets 7.5.1\r\nbqplot 0.12.0 (off conda-forge)\r\nxeus-cling 0.6.0 (off conda-forge)\r\nxwidgets 0.18.0 (off conda-forge)\r\nand this all works, however when calling xplot 0.13.0 using the commands in the example notebook (https://github.com/QuantStack/xplot/blob/master/notebooks/xplot.ipynb) the kernel dies when calling this line:\r\nxpl::lines line(sx, sy);\r\n\r\nAdditionally, on my local notebook calling:\r\nxpl::figure fig;\r\nfig\r\n\r\ndisplays blank space, whereas calling the same example code on the binder hosted notebook here shows a grey rectangle.
