Description: Agent names in message cards were cut off after 192 pixels even when most of the row was empty. Sender names now use the available row width and truncate only when they reach its edge. The open-agent arrow stays visible when a linked name is too long. The same sizing applies to names on queued messages and to senders whose chats can no longer be opened. Intended presentation: the name uses its own row because the message body and timestamp occupy separate rows. Queued messages use the same width rule beside their existing From label; multiple sender names can wrap. Plan: replace the fixed text-width cap with the containing row’s width, preserving the existing name lookup, navigation, wrapping and ellipsis behavior. Validation: 21 renderer tests passed across sender identity and message-card rendering. The existing rename test now checks that clicking a long sender name forwards its full current title; all five sender-identity tests passed after that update. All 41 changed-file checks passed on the final merged head. Actual Electron screenshots reproduce the old clipping and verify the final head in dark and light themes. At 1280×900 the 325px name is fully visible; longer names use the whole row. At 420×900 with sidebars collapsed, names truncate inside the 419px chat pane and arrows stay visible, with no horizontal overflow. Screenshots were inspected directly. Review classification (light path): Small: 5 changed production lines in one component. Outside risky areas: CSS classes only; no changes to state, persistence, ownership, orchestration, process control or cross-version contracts. Not a repeat: the component’s last 30 days contain no fix for premature sender-name truncation and no revert or incident; the fixed cap predates the message-card presentation. Local effect: sender-name layout only. Before (192px cap): After (available row width): Light theme: Narrow chat (420×900, sidebars collapsed): Coverage limits: screenshots cover delivered messages with linked senders; queued messages and plain-text senders were not captured. Their shared sizing was checked in code and existing renderer coverage. A 760px window with both sidebars open left only 129px for the transcript and overflowed; that extreme surrounding layout was not compared against the baseline.
