We currently manage to do this on Linux by using Mono and Pythonnet, but we are trying to avoid the dependency on Mono going forward.\r\n\r\n[Here](https://gist.github.com/rlordcardano/c1c961effec6be2ddeab8798c0e85c29) I have included the dockerfile used to setup the required environment (Ubuntu 18.04 docker image, with .NET Core SDK, Python 3.6.7 and a clone of PR #612) so that one can reproduce what I'm seeing.\r\n\r\nSubsequently, after starting the docker image, run:\r\n\r\n```\r\ncd pythonnet\r\npython3 setup.py bdist_wheel --xplat\r\n```\r\n\r\nSubsequently, install the wheel that has been generated in the dist folder.\r\nThe error I get after this is:\r\n\r\n```\r\n\u003e\u003e\u003eimport clr\r\nFailed to convert CLR files path to absolute path\r\nTraceback (most recent call shown last):\r\n  File \"\u003cstdin\u003e\", line 1, in \u003cmodule\u003e\r\nImportError: Unable to find clr path\r\n```","author":{"url":"https://github.com/rlordcardano","@type":"Person","name":"rlordcardano"},"datePublished":"2019-01-02T21:02:12.000Z","interactionStatistic":{"@type":"InteractionCounter","interactionType":"https://schema.org/CommentAction","userInteractionCount":9},"url":"https://github.com/801/pythonnet/issues/801"}
