{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"DiscussionForumPosting","headline":"Using interconnect/interconnected system","articleBody":"Trying to get the hang of creating interconnected systems, and hoping that `interconnect` can provide a more human-readable form of `connect`.\r\n\r\nThis is my question: If I'd like to create a simple feedback system like this: \r\n```\r\n y\r\n-\u003e0---\u003eP(s)------\u003e\r\n ^ - |\r\n | u |\r\n ------C(s)\u003c----\r\n```\r\nthe following code gives the same system for both systems: \r\n```python\r\nP = control.ss(control.tf(1, [1, 0]))\r\nC = control.ss(control.tf(10, [1, 1]))\r\nPio = control.LinearIOSystem(P, inputs='u', outputs='y', name='P')\r\nCio = control.LinearIOSystem(C, inputs='y', outputs='u', name='C')\r\nCL = control.interconnect((Pio, Cio), \r\n connections = [['P.u', 'C.u'], ['C.y', '-P.y']],\r\n inplist='P.u', outlist='P.y')\r\ndisplay(control.feedback(P, C))\r\ndisplay(CL)\r\n```\r\n\r\nIs there any chance you could just, by correctly assigning names that match between systems as I have done here, interconnect automatically without needing the \"connections\" argument? Here, that doesnt seem to work (systems don't match anymore), but for some reason I had in my mind that it was possible. Am I just missing something? Thanks!
