The tests on Windows were [failing](https://github.com/xonsh/xonsh/actions/runs/5281163680/jobs/9587052082) because of the difference in behaviour of PureWindowsPath. \r\n\r\nThis can be reproduced like this \r\n\r\nin Python 3.11\r\n\r\n```\r\n\u003e\u003e\u003e from pathlib import PurePosixPath, PureWindowsPath\r\n\u003e\u003e\u003e PurePosixPath(\"///tmp\")\r\nPurePosixPath('/tmp')\r\n\u003e\u003e\u003e PureWindowsPath(r\"\\\\\\tmp\")\r\nPureWindowsPath('/tmp')\r\n```\r\n\r\nbut the same in Python 3.12.0b2 would be giving different result\r\n```\r\nIn [1]: from pathlib import PurePosixPath, PureWindowsPath\r\nIn [2]: PurePosixPath(\"///tmp\")\r\nOut[2]: PurePosixPath('/tmp')\r\nIn [3]: PureWindowsPath(r\"\\\\\\tmp\")\r\nOut[3]: PureWindowsPath('///tmp')\r\n```\r\n\r\nI've checked the [changelog](https://docs.python.org/3.12/whatsnew/changelog.html#changelog) and this change of behaviour wasn't mentioned in it. \r\n\r\n# Your environment\r\n\r\n\u003c!-- Include as many relevant details as possible about the environment you experienced the bug in --\u003e\r\n\r\n- CPython versions tested on: 3.12.0b2\r\n- Operating system and architecture: Windows 64bit\r\n\r\n\u003c!--\r\nYou can freely edit this text.
