All packages depending on libfreetype6-dev should use pkg-config to find the relevant CFLAGS and libraries.\r\n\r\nThis problem is fixed in PHP 7.4 (https://github.com/php/php-src/pull/3632) but the older versions need to be patched (see [freetype.patch](https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/tree/trunk/freetype.patch?h=packages/php) from Archlinux).\r\n\r\nAlso, there's a file named `0047-Use-pkg-config-for-FreeType2-detection.patch` in Ondřej Surý's builds for PHP which would probably solve the problem as well (not sure how to reference it).","author":{"url":"https://github.com/morozov","@type":"Person","name":"morozov"},"datePublished":"2019-07-27T10:16:18.000Z","interactionStatistic":{"@type":"InteractionCounter","interactionType":"https://schema.org/CommentAction","userInteractionCount":5},"url":"https://github.com/1033/phpbrew/issues/1033"}
