I cannot tell whether `clip` should be default behavior or `mask` doesn't work as intended.\r\n\r\n```python\r\nimport matplotlib.pyplot as plt\r\nplt.bar(x=[1,2,3], height=[1000,2,3])\r\nplt.yscale(\"log\")\r\nplt.show()\r\n```\r\nResult is an empty plot.
