Using matplotlib 1.4.3 I can not close the current figure with this keymap and under the backend MacOSX. Specifically when I press the `q` key the keypress is sent to the shell instead.\n\nI am currently on OSX Yosemite. My quick fix was to choose a different backed, Qt4Agg.\n\nIn my matplotlibrc file I have `keymap.quit : q`\n### Related issues\n- #1902: Default quit keymap - support for cmd+w on OSX\n- #2140: Make Cmd-W close the window using QT4 on OS X\n\nI am currently unsure if this has been fixed in the bleeding edge version of mpl. I have tested mpl-1.4.3 under a virtualenv and get the same results.\n","author":{"url":"https://github.com/stsievert","@type":"Person","name":"stsievert"},"datePublished":"2015-04-23T03:51:22.000Z","interactionStatistic":{"@type":"InteractionCounter","interactionType":"https://schema.org/CommentAction","userInteractionCount":16},"url":"https://github.com/4372/matplotlib/issues/4372"}
