{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"DiscussionForumPosting","headline":"html documentation: modules table and prev-next links","articleBody":"In my recent builds of the html documentation (sphynx 1.1.3, numpydoc 0.4) I have\nnoticed 2 issues (And thanks to @NelleV online builds, I know that I am at\nleast not the only one):\n- 2 _modules_ links appears in the top toolbar (on the left), for 2 domains\n  _py-modindex_ and _np-modindex_ (which in fact are identical).\n  If I am correct, this is related with sphynx new keyword\n  http://sphinx-doc.org/config.html?highlight=html_use_modindex#confval-html_domain_indices\n  Explicitely setting `html_domain_indices = [\"py-modindex\"]` in the build\n  configuration file config.py (line 162) seems to solve this.\n- The \"previous topic\", \"next topic\" sometimes (often) disappear. Compare for instance\n  http://matplotlib.org/api/ticker_api.html#module-matplotlib.ticker with\n  http://cbio.ensmp.fr/~nvaroquaux/matplotlib/doc/api/ticker_api.html#module-matplotlib.ticker\n  It seems that some prev-next relationships are no more included in the sphynx toc tree ; however this goes far beyond my understanding of the doc build.\n","author":{"url":"https://github.com/GBillotey","@type":"Person","name":"GBillotey"},"datePublished":"2013-03-20T07:46:10.000Z","interactionStatistic":{"@type":"InteractionCounter","interactionType":"https://schema.org/CommentAction","userInteractionCount":8},"url":"https://github.com/1837/matplotlib/issues/1837"}
