All other available formats (eps, pdf, pgf, png, ps, raw, rgba, svg) work properly.\r\n\r\n\u003c!--A description of the expected outcome from the code snippet--\u003e\r\n\u003c!--If this used to work in an earlier version of Matplotlib, please note the version it used to work on--\u003e\r\n\r\n**Matplotlib version**\r\n\r\nThe problem occurs on the following system:\r\n\r\n  * Operating system: Arch Linux (x86_64 Linux 5.5.13-arch1-1)\r\n  * Matplotlib version: 3.2.1\r\n  * Matplotlib backend (`print(matplotlib.get_backend())`): Qt5Agg\r\n  * Python version: 3.8.2\r\n\r\nIt also occurs on these systems:\r\n\r\n  * Operating system: Fedora\r\n  * Environment: conda with conda-forge\r\n  * Matplotlib version: 3.2.1 from conda-forge\r\n  * Matplotlib backend (`print(matplotlib.get_backend())`): Qt5Agg\r\n  * Python version: 3.8.2 *and* 3.7.6\r\n\r\nHowever, it does not occur on these systems:\r\n\r\n  * Operating system: Fedora\r\n  * Environment: conda with conda-forge\r\n  * Matplotlib version: 3.0.3 *and* 3.1.3 from conda-forge\r\n  * Matplotlib backend (`print(matplotlib.get_backend())`): Qt5Agg\r\n  * Python version: 3.7.6\r\n\r\nIn conclusion, this seems to be a regression from matplotlib 3.1 to matplotlib 3.2\r\n","author":{"url":"https://github.com/op3","@type":"Person","name":"op3"},"datePublished":"2020-03-31T12:58:26.000Z","interactionStatistic":{"@type":"InteractionCounter","interactionType":"https://schema.org/CommentAction","userInteractionCount":1},"url":"https://github.com/16978/matplotlib/issues/16978"}
