Downloading files directly is a somewhat uncommon use-case, so we don't have current plans to modify the UI in a way that would clear up the confusion.\r\n\r\nWe were wondering if it would be better for the \"Jython Installer\" and \"Jython Standalone JAR\" links to link the `.jar` files on Maven Central directly (e.g. \u003chttps://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/python/jython-installer/2.7.4/jython-installer-2.7.4.jar\u003e for the current release and \u003chttps://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/python/jython-installer/\u003e for previous versions)? We see that this changed recently with https://github.com/jython/jython.github.io/pull/37.\r\n\r\nWe're open to other ideas or feedback on the pages that are currently linked from the downloads page.
