Instead, this parameter is the [retry timeout ](https://github.com/googleapis/google-cloud-python/blob/master/spanner/google/cloud/spanner_v1/session.py#L286)which is the deadline after which the transaction will stop being retried.\r\n\r\nWe need to update the documentation so that it's clear what this parameter is used for.","author":{"url":"https://github.com/skuruppu","@type":"Person","name":"skuruppu"},"datePublished":"2019-10-01T01:19:14.000Z","interactionStatistic":{"@type":"InteractionCounter","interactionType":"https://schema.org/CommentAction","userInteractionCount":0},"url":"https://github.com/9364/google-cloud-python/issues/9364"}
