Description: The first part of bookmarks phase 4, on every phone and without a model. Most news, blog and GitHub pages declare no keywords, so page-based suggestions had little to work with. Now up to 2 keywords are picked from the readable text. How it picks (crates/tag-suggest/src/keywords.rs) Weighting: words score by where they appear: title 3, the preview's description and excerpt 2, the shared text 1. A word needs at least 3, meaning once in the title or a few times elsewhere. Skipped: common English and German words; web filler (subscribe, cookies, …); generic words (update, release, report, guide, …); past tenses and adverbs (plotted, quickly); "-ing" words stay, because cooking and learning are good tags; numbers, and the site's own name. Phrases: two-word phrases ("machine learning") count when they appear at least twice. A title alone joins words at random ("hackers plotted"). Acronyms keep their case: AI, F1, UK. Where they rank: a new reason, text, at 0.6 and then 0.55, below every other reason, so they only fill gaps. Text keywords are never an existing tag (that's already a content match) and never share a word with a tag already suggested ("recipe ideas" next to recipes). On real links (Android emulator, previews on): Link Suggestions NYT, Binance hack billion, binance Guardian, UK food suppliers food (existing tag), UK, cyber CNN, OpenAI assistant openai, AI Rust blog, rustup 1.29.3 rust (existing tag), rustup, efficient software Allrecipes lasagna recipe (page kind), lasagna GitHub PR rust (existing tag), callee A first version also picked title-only phrases and generic words ("hackers plotted", "update", "release", "body"); the rules above came from that run. Some noise is left ("billion", "callee", "efficient software" from the Rust blog's stock description), but it ranks last. Tests: tag-suggest has 27: the picker on its own (acronyms, phrases, site name and filler, German, the minimum score), plus the suggester with the new reason (fills gaps, ranks last, no double counting); bookmarks has 56. Clippy is clean. docs/BOOKMARKS.md describes the reason, and phase 4's first part is ticked off in it and in the roadmap. 🤖 Generated with Claude Code
