Ideally, it would return a numpy array of index pairs.\n\nThis could prove particularly useful for quickly accessing colliding pairs of AABBs without having to perform any further manipulation in Python. \n\nCurrently, to do this I need to use `np.vectorize`, `np.repeat` and `np.concatenate` to convert the nested lists from `batch_query` into flat arrays and then apply a boolean mask to remove duplicate and undesired pairs. Unfortunately, this whole process cancels out any performance gains from the parallelized C++ calculations.\n\nPlease, let me know!\n\n\n\n\n","author":{"url":"https://github.com/matsupin","@type":"Person","name":"matsupin"},"datePublished":"2025-02-03T09:25:37.000Z","interactionStatistic":{"@type":"InteractionCounter","interactionType":"https://schema.org/CommentAction","userInteractionCount":1},"url":"https://github.com/40/python_prtree/issues/40"}
