I can cmd+right click to bypass but highlighting so this can be fixed properly.\n\n### Expected behavior\n\n```console\nShould run installer without needing to bypass Apple protections.\n```\n\n### Actual behavior\n\n```console\nThrows \"Apple could not verify \"powershell-7.6.0-osx-arm64.pkg\" is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy.\" error\n```\n\n### Error details\n\n```console\n\n```\n\n### Environment data\n\n```powershell\nN/A\n```\n\n### Visuals\n\n1) Download powershell-7.6.0-osx-arm64.pkg from the Github repo releases\n2) Double click to open pkg\n3) Error appears\n","author":{"url":"https://github.com/josh-the-tech","@type":"Person","name":"josh-the-tech"},"datePublished":"2026-04-13T18:50:32.000Z","interactionStatistic":{"@type":"InteractionCounter","interactionType":"https://schema.org/CommentAction","userInteractionCount":1},"url":"https://github.com/27262/PowerShell/issues/27262"}
